About Kyle J. Sexton

Kyle Sexton is the Director of Member Services for the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce.  Since 2001, he has been responsible for sales, service and retention, as well as marketing and business development.  In his time with the Chamber, he has redesigned the Chamber’s website, successfully transitioned their publications to in-house productions, re-built the dues structure to value-based tiers, and worked to increase membership revenue nearly 50%. 

Kyle is the founder of FastChamber.com, developing franchise-quality systems for chambers of commerce.  His research and methods have been featured in industry publications, as well as national and regional conventions.  Kyle’s innovative online membership sales module, Chamber SalesEngine™, has grown to account for up to 40% of annual new member sales in Salem. 

The recipient of the 2007 Gerald W. Hathaway Staff Person of the Year Award, Kyle is a highly rated speaker for the Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE) Academy and the American Chamber of Commerce Executives conventions.  He serves on the ACCE Board of Directors, and the Membership Development Advisory Board as Chair-Elect.  He is a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient from the ACCE's Circle of Champions with over 1000 memberships sold, and served two years as chair of the Circle of Champions program and Vice Chair of Sales and Recognition Programs. 

Kyle has been marketing and selling memberships since 1996.  Prior to working for the Chamber, Kyle was the Director of Marketing & Corporate Services for a chain of Gold’s Gym locations in Western Oregon.  Kyle's work was honored with The 2001 Gold's Gym International Award for Outstanding Advertising from among 600 franchises worldwide. 

Kyle lives in Salem, Oregon, with his 7-year-old son, Wyatt.
